In 1996, only a part of the Vienna subway stations had an elevator integrated. For all the newer stations, however, this was the case. In this picture, we see that Westbahnhof is also a transfer station between U3 and U6 line. The U6 part of the station has also been newly built during its integration into the subway network, even though Westbahnhof is right within the "classical" Stadtbahn part of the line.
