Let's start our small trip in Kliebergasse station. From left to the background, we see the main route below Gürtelstraße. The junction to the right leads to the inner city and the opera. The line 62 car is just travelling along there. On the right of the car, there is a signal for the opposite track. Almost surely, the whole traffic is signal-controlled, otherwise no operating license would have been granted. The mirror in the middle of the picture, however, allows the tram drivers a controlling view to make any accident even more impossible as it already is.
In the foreground of the picture, we see the wall around the stairs to the distribution level of the station, which is actually below the tracks and links the platforms together.
